Which blockchains does HokenFi support?

HokenFi currently operates on Ethereum and Polygon: the two networks where the platform’s tokenized securities are issued and registered. ISBE and Solana are being integrated and will be available soon. The network you choose does not change the legal nature of the security; it changes transaction costs, ecosystem liquidity and institutional fit.

Networks available today

NetworkStatusWhy issuers choose it
EthereumLiveThe most mature institutional ecosystem: consolidated security token standards, audited custodians and tooling.
PolygonLiveLow transaction costs with full EVM compatibility: the same contracts, frequent corporate actions without fees getting in the way.
ISBEIn integrationSpain’s public blockchain infrastructure: a natural fit for issuances that want alignment with Spanish digital public services.
SolanaIn integrationHigh throughput and minimal fees, with a growing tokenized-asset ecosystem.

What the network means for your issuance

The tokenized security is the same legal instrument on any of these networks: in Spain, full legal effect comes from the ERIR register under article 8 of Law 6/2023 and Royal Decree 814/2023, not from the chain. The network shapes three practical things: cost per operation (relevant with frequent corporate actions or transfers), the integrations available (custody, secondary venues, reporting) and the preferences of the institutional investors you target.

On Ethereum and Polygon, securities are issued with the EVM family of security token standards. Instrument classification and the issuance process do not change with the network: the full route is in how to issue a security token in Spain, and the registrar model in what is an ERIR.

Choosing a network in three questions

First: how many operations will your security see per year? With monthly corporate actions and many investors, per-transaction cost matters and Polygon usually fits better. Second: what does your anchor investor require? Some institutional mandates specify networks. Third: do you need a specific custody or secondary-market integration? Availability per network decides before any technical preference. For the design questions that depend on the instrument rather than the infrastructure, see what is a security token.

Frequently asked questions

Which blockchains does HokenFi support?

HokenFi currently operates on Ethereum and Polygon, where the platform's tokenized securities are issued and registered. ISBE and Solana are being integrated and will be available soon.

Does the network change the legal validity of the tokenized security?

No. In Spain, legal effect comes from the ERIR register under article 8 of Law 6/2023 and Royal Decree 814/2023, regardless of the network. The chain affects costs per operation, available integrations and investor preferences, not the legal nature of the instrument.

What is ISBE?

ISBE is Spain's public blockchain infrastructure initiative. For issuers it offers alignment with Spanish digital public services. HokenFi has it in integration, together with Solana.
